What customers say?

“ Was looking for a quite, cozy place for afternoon tea. All the surrounding tea rooms were fully booked. As we thought we had no more options, we noticed this tea room and gave it a try. Did not disappoint! Staff was friendly and swift, cafe was quite with plenty seats and food/drinks were excellent. Would recommend greatly. ”

“ Great menu , good sized portions. I had the hallumi and avacado salad. Dogs are also allowed inside. On two flloors with a daily specials board. Also do great fresh mint tea. Can get busy around 12-1 but staff very attentive and manage the tables. Ordering from the table, good selection of cakes etc ”

“ Already been once before, came again and was not disappointed. Brilliant, polite, friendly and efficient service. Food was served fast and portion size is great value, not to mention the food being delicious. ”

“ Pleasant brunch here in Penrith. Breakfast until noon. I had full English and the Missus had Eggs Benedict. Two coffees and 26 pounds later, very full. A little on the expensive side. ”

“ Went in after a bike ride for lunch. Want disappointed. Even on a Monday, it was busy enough to have a nice atmosphere. Service was prompt and friendly, food was good (halloumi and avocado salad had plenty of those in, and wasn't just padded with leaves, dressings and sweet chilli had good flavour) and the price was surprisingly good too. ”

“ Really friendly cosey place. Decent range of options on the menu with several vegetarian options. No vegan options clearly marked but several can be made vegan. Options include hummus and veggie sandwhich, soup, or falafel. I had the soup and sandwich option and told the staff I was vegan, they quickly asked the chef if the soup was vegan without a fuss and then offered vegan spread instead of butter on my hummus and veg sandwich. To finish off my meal I had a vegan choc chip cookie which was a surprise find. Good experience. ”

“ A lovely cafe to come for lunch. Hot Lavazza coffee. Plenty of food choices. The soup was Mexican corn & red pepper which was delicious. It came with a fresh warm bread roll. The cheese & ham toastie was also good. The nachos were also good as well as hot curly fries! We sat outside with our pooch and they gave her some complimentary doggie biscuits! The cake counter had plenty of choices!! ”
